Establishments to start first, second alternative admissions Aug 21

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all tertiary establishments to start the conduct of the primary and second alternative admissions from August 21.

The board gave the directive within the 2020 admission pointers launched in Abuja by the board Spokesperson, Dr Benjamin Fabian.

Dr Fabian, within the pointers, warned establishments in opposition to duplication of kinds, including that they need to desist from promoting kinds for admissions into some listed programmes.

He urged establishments to advise candidates to use for the programmes by its workplace, saying that each one admission train should be performed on the Central Admission Processing System.

”Establishments that want to put commercial can achieve this by advising candidates who utilized for the present Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination to vary to their establishment as first alternative relatively than requesting the candidates to buy one other software type or apply.
