The 12-man judicial panel of inquiry arrange by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has introduced graduation of its sittings.
DAILY POST recollects that the announcement is coming three months after the panel was inaugurated.
Our correspondent gathered that the panel was inaugurated on tenth November 2020.
The panel is but to begin its sittings.
Nevertheless, the panel on Monday introduced that it’s going to begin its sittings subsequent Tuesday after a number of criticisms from stakeholders.
It introduced that it’s going to begin the sittings after concluding preliminary evaluation of complaints/petitions submitted by victims of police brutality/victimisation.
Secretary of the panel, Mr. H.T. Salami in a press release made obtainable to DAILY POST stated that each one petitioners and respondents had been served with listening to notices.
He added that petitioners and respondents are anticipated to seem earlier than the Panel on the date contained of their respective listening to notices.
The panel warned members of the general public coming to the listening to to stick strictly to COVID-19 protocols and pointers.
