Ebonyi state Governor, David Umahi, has sacked over 1,000 aides from 350 native authorities space liaison places of work and growth centres administration committee within the state.

 

In a report by the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN), this was disclosed by Governor Umahi on Monday, July 20, throughout a digital swearing-in of some particular assistants and caretaker chairmen of native governments.

 

The classes of sacked aides embody technical assistants, senior technical assistants, and govt assistants.

In response to Umahi, the aides of the Ebonyi state authorities had been relieved of their jobs over non-performance and would take impact on August 1, 2020.
