The Nigeria Customs Service Board (NCSB) on Wednesday permitted the appointment of 5 Assistant Comptrollers- Common (ACG) of Customs.
Mr. Joseph Attah, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the service, disclosed this in an announcement in Abuja.
The newly appointed ACG of Customs have been Mohammed Boyi, Coaching and Coordination, Adewale Adeniyi, Commandant C&SC Gwagwalada and Jack Ajoku, Strategic Analysis and Coverage.
Others are Olakunle Oyeleke Doctrine, Improvement and Administration and Emmanuel Edorhe, Zonal Coordinator, Zone ‘C.
Attah additionally disclosed that the board additionally permitted the dismissal of ACG Aminu Dahiru for severe misconduct, whereas ACG Bashir Abubakar received obligatory retirement for acts of negligence and promoted 2,634 officers.
He disclosed that the disciplinary actions in opposition to the 2 senior officers have been in-line with the service reform agenda.
“The selections made throughout the assembly are supposed to transfer the service ahead in-terms of manpower and operations.
“NCS is making progress and I’m optimistic that the approaching of the e-Customs will assist enhance NCS operations,” the assertion added.
