The Coalition of Civil Societies, Osun State and Nationwide Associational of Nigerian College students (NANS), have given the Federal Authorities of Nigeria 5 days ultimatum to reverse the petrol pump value and electrical energy tariff.
The protesters in Osogbo, the state capital of Osun on Friday, demanded the federal government to reverse the pump value to its authentic N130 and likewise reverse different anti-human taxes and tariffs improve.
Recall that the Pipelines and Product Advertising and marketing Firm (PPMC), a subsidiary of the Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Company, NNPC, had earlier introduced an increment within the pump value of petrol to N151.56 per litre.
The chairman of Osun Civil Societies Coalition, OCSC, Comrade Waheed Lawal, who led the protest, lamented that the Federal Authorities underneath President Muhammadu Buhari has failed Nigerians over unfulfilled promised he made through the electioneering course of.
Based on him, “Nigeria belongs to all and the plenty voted for President Muhammadu Buhari due to the guarantees he made throughout his marketing campaign, however Buhari has failed Nigerians.”
They, nevertheless, give the President Buhari 5 days ultimatum to reverse electrical energy tariff and petrol pump value or see a riot of the plenty.
