Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers, over the weekend killed a Deputy Registrar of the Federal College of Expertise, Akure (FUTA), Ondo State, Dr Amos Arijesuyo.
The Deputy Registrar who was returning to Akure from Ibadan, Oyo State capital to Akure, the Ondo State capital was attacked by bandits working on the Ilesa-Akure freeway.
Arijesuyo, who labored on the Steering and Counselling unit of the College students Affairs Division of the College, was mentioned to have been attacked alongside his driver and one different unidentified individual at Iwaraja Space of Ilesa- Akure freeway in Osun State.
Arijesuyo who can be a senior Pastor at CAC, Glory of God , FUTA Akure, was mentioned to have died within the hospital from gunshots wound hours after the assault.
In the meantime, FUTA, on Monday condemned the killing of the Deputy Registrar.
Based on the establishment in a press release signed by the College’s Head of Media and Protocols of FUTA, Adegbenro Adebanjo, “Dr Arijesuyo’s dying is a giant loss to FUTA, the tutorial group in Nigeria and past.
“It’s a dying that ought to not have occurred within the first place.
