Eyitayo Jegede, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) has gained the Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP) governorship election ticket.
He beat seven others, together with Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi, who defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to struggle for the rival occasion’s ticket.
Jegede, who was the PDP candidate within the 2016 election, misplaced to incumbent Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Akeredolu clinched the APC ticket to contest the October 10 election within the Sunshine State.
