BREAKING: Buhari endorses Ize-Iyamu for Edo election

President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for subsequent month’s elections in Edo State.

This was revealed by the Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC, Mai Malla Buni, on Friday.

Buni acknowledged this whereas briefing State Home correspondents after presenting Ize-Iyamu to Buhari.

Ize-Iyamu had in the course of the assembly debunked the allegation that 14 members-elect of the Edo State Home of Meeting, sat in his home on Thursday to question the Speaker of the Home and elected a brand new one.

He stated: “Let me debunk the assertion that 17 members of the State Home of Meeting sat in my sitting room, it isn’t true.”
