Boko Haram: No fresh attack on Zulum, security in Borno – Spokesman

Borno State Authorities has refuted studies claiming there was one other assault by Boko Haram on Governor Babagana Zulum and his safety particulars.

Zulum’s spokesman, Isa Gusau, in an announcement on Sunday, mentioned Zulum travelled to Baga on Saturday, spent the day supervising the distribution of meals gadgets to five,000 residents and returned to Maiduguri safely.

Gusau famous that whereas in Baga, his principal assessed main reconstruction and resettlement efforts with no hitch.

“As members of the general public can testify, it’s the tradition and precept of Professor Zulum to say issues as they’re. On this case, it’s what it’s – no assault in any respect. Any media group that wishes additional clarification might want to contact the Nigerian army.”

Gusau expressed Zulum’s appreciation to all well-wishers throughout Nigeria.

“He gratefully recommended the Armed Forces, Police and civilian volunteers for the relentless efforts in totally restoring lasting peace to Borno State” the assertion added.
