Black Sunday as six die in road accident along Enugu-Onitsha expressway

Six individuals have reportedly died on Sunday alongside the Enugu-Onitsha expressway at Nkwelle Ezunaka, Oyi Native Authorities Space of Anambra State in a deadly street accident.

DAILY POST gathered that 11 individuals additionally sustained various levels of damage within the crash which concerned two autos; a white industrial bus and an unregistered shuttle bus.

Public Training Officer, Federal Highway Security Corps in Anambra State, RC Kamal Musa who disclosed the information of the accident mentioned it occurred after 5pm on Sunday.

“Six individuals have been killed and 11 injured in a deadly crash involving a mini white bus belonging to CDO transport Firm with registration quantity BGT 313 XA and a white truck and not using a registration quantity.

“Accident was recorded at 1710hrs this night twenty second November 2020 at Nkwelle Junction alongside Nteje – Onitsha expressway.

“Eyewitness report reaching us signifies that the crash occurred because of extreme dashing resulting in lack of management of the bus and crashing finally.

“A complete of 17 individuals; 11 male adults and 6 feminine adults have been concerned within the Crash. 11 male adults who sustained various diploma of accidents have been rushed to Iyi – Enu Hospital, Ogidi by FRSC rescue staff from Nteje Unit Command.”

He added that corpses of the six individuals who have been killed within the accident have been deposited in a Mogue after Physician’s affirmation.

He added that the street obstruction brought on by the accident is being cleared to make sure the free circulate of visitors.
