Bayelsa Assembly confirms Diri’s new appointments

Bayelsa State Home of Meeting has screened and confirmed two extra commissioner-nominees despatched by Governor Duoye Diri.

They’re Keme Warebi and Erasmus Patrick, NAN reviews.

Additionally confirmed had been new officers of the Native Authorities Service Fee.

Lambert Ototo, Odudu Awipi and Cleopas Carter, had been confirmed as Chairman and members, respectively.

Talking at plenary, Ebiuwou Koku Obiyai (PDP – Yenagoa constituency ll) and Knowledge Fafi, (PDP – Kolokuma/Opokuma constituency l) urged the appointees to carry out creditably.

In August, Diri swore in 24 commissioners and one Particular Adviser.

World and Olympic champion, Daniel Igali, was named Commissioner for Sports activities.
