Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has described the dying of Prof. Femi Odekunle, first Nigerian Professor of criminology as an enormous loss.
DAILY POST had reported that Odekunle, who can be a member of the Presidential Advisory Committee Towards Corruption (PACAC), died on the COVID-19 Isolation Heart in Gwagwalada, Abuja, Tuesday night.
Reacting, Atiku in a tweet through his Twitter account on Wednesday, described Odekunle’s dying as an enormous loss.
He additionally prayed that God would grant his household the fortitude to bear the loss.
“The dying of Professor Femi Odekunle is a big loss. He was a superb gentleman with distinctive educational brilliance.
“I condole along with his household and associates, particularly the mental group, the federal government and folks of Osun State.
“I pray that the Almighty God shall settle for his soul and grant his household the fortitude to bear the loss,” he wrote.
