Members of Tutorial Employees Union of the College, College of Calabar chapter, on Wednesday, staged a protest over non-payment of allowances within the establishment.
The protesters, who carried placards with numerous inscriptions resembling, “Pay our CES arrears, pay our GSS arrears, pay our post-graduate thesis supervision, pay our promotion arrears, pay our examine fellowship and convention attendance arrears,” moved around the establishment singing solidarity music.
