APC slams Makinde over plan to borrow N100b

THE All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has slammed Governor Seyi Makinde’s determination to supply N100 billion mortgage by bond to finance tasks.

The Govt Council had on Tuesday permitted the issuance of a N100billion personal bond to facilitate what it referred to as the execution of precedence tasks that might drive financial growth.

It stated the fund could be raised in two tranches of N50billion every for the development of Iseyin-Ogbomoso highway, Ibadan round highway and Ibadan Airport improve amongst others.
