APC, NRM supporters defect to PDP in Zamfara

All Progressives Congress (APC) and Nationwide Rescue Motion (NRM) supporters in Gusau Native Authorities Space of Zamfara have defected to the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP).

The defectors, on Sunday, Bello Jafaru defined that their resolution to hitch PDP was a results of the current administration’s efforts in tackling insecurity within the state.

Hadiza Salisu counseled Governor Bello Matawalle for appointing girls into varied political workplaces.

She stated over 3,000 girls from Madawaki ward have determined to hitch PDP contemplating varied programmes initiated by Matawalle.

“Girls within the state are benefiting from the continuing Girls Empowerment Programme initiated by the state authorities by means of the workplace of the First Woman, Hajiya Aisha Bello-Matawalle,” she stated.

Receiving the defectors, Sanusi Sarki, the Sole Administrator of Gusau native authorities council counseled them for becoming a member of PDP.

Sarki assured that the state authorities would proceed to offer precedence to youths and girls empowerment programmes.
