The Police in Anambra State have arrested two members of an armed theft syndicate, who have been mentioned to be specialists in one-chance theft operations.
The suspects, Chukwuemeka Ikechukwu, a male, aged 22 years, lives at Chibest Avenue, Tarzan, Onitsha and Tochukwu Okeke one other male, aged 30 years is claimed to be an indigene of Nkwelle Ukeh in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State have been arrested in Onitsha.
Anambra State Police Command’s Spokesperson, SP Haruna Mohammed, who disclosed the arrest of the suspects to journalists, mentioned two weapons, a tricycle, 12 handsets and an enormous amount of money and others have been discovered within the suspects as reveals.
He mentioned, “On the 6/09/2020 at about 4:30am, following credible intelligence report, police operatives connected Ogbunike Division smashed a theft syndicate and arrested two suspects.
