Akeredolu in early lead in Ondo APC major

Ondo Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is in early lead within the governorship major of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which is ongoing in Akure, the state capital.

The election, held on the Dome, was concluded at about 8:30 pm.

Counting began instantly.

Out of the primary 4 native governments counted already, Akeredolu is main with a large margin.

The Governor polled 639 votes whereas his closest rival Sola Oke received 30. Isaac Kekemeke polled three votes to return third.

The native governments, as at press time, are Akoko South East, Akoko South West, Akoko North East and North West.
