60-year-old man arrested for raping 13-year outdated in Delta

The Police in Delta State have arrested a person recognized merely as Ogheneovo, for allegedly raping a 13-year outdated woman in Ovwian, Udu council space of the state.

The suspect, 60, was reportedly arrested by a group from the Ovwian/Aladja Police Division.

In accordance with experiences, the suspect allegedly defiled {the teenager} in his house after attractive her with some cash.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the event by way of phone to The Nation, Monday.

She mentioned, “sure, it’s true. That occurred in Ovwian”.

She added that the Delta State Police Command has commenced investigation on the matter.
